The Maddog Strong Foundation was created in the spirit of Maddie “Maddog” Grobmeier, a Level 10 gymnast at Gym-Kinetics about to start her college gymnastics career at UW La Crosse, who passed away unexpectedly from an asthma attack the day after her 18th birthday in 2019. Maddie inspired many by donating her organs and tissues so that others could live on to do amazing things for the world. Her heart, liver, kidneys, corneas, and other tissues saved at least 3 lives and changed the lives of over 11 people as far away South Korea.

The mission of the Maddog Strong Foundation is to inspire the next generation of organ and tissue donation advocates through education, registration, and conversation.
